Just to keep you updated about what I have done regarding due dates and the fires. I've emailed all of my sections (and told Dhritiman to do the same for his), that homework #3 (that was supposed to be due last Friday) will be due this Friday at the same time as homework #4. In addition, the project, which was supposed to be explained in section last week, will be explained this week, and project #1 will be due the Friday of 7th week (the 16th).
In section this week we will cover both chapter 5 and chapter 6 (chapter 5 was supposed to be last week, chapter six is this week, but chapter 6 is short, so we should be able to take care of this).
In order to catch up on the material in section, I would prefer if we could push back the second lab quiz to next week (I think it will be very busy in section to try and cover 2 chapters, the project, and give a quiz). In addition, the quiz I was planning on giving used some material from chapter 5, which has not yet been covered in section. If you still want to give the lab quiz this week, I can modify the quiz to not include any chapter 5 material, but I think it would be better to just give the quiz next week. Let me know what you think about this, if we do change the time, then we should announce this in class tomorrow.

Naturally, due dates will need to be extended due to the campus closing during the recent fires. Tuesday we'll have quiz 7 that was not held last week, and Thursday quiz 8...see the revised course outline and webpage. Hope you came through the fires unscathed.

I was wondering if you had extended the due date for the HW on chapter 4
from last friday to this friday. Also, what chapter will you be quizzing
on Tuesday? Finally, is our project still due this week?
